About the Location: Gorakhgad Fort:
It is a hill fortress located near Dehri Village of Murbad Taluka in Thane District. It has a thrilling exposure to its trail systems and we are going there to enjoy the beauty of the Sahyadri around the hill fort and also experience the climbing of the Fort’s 80 Degree Rock Cut stairs with full safety precautions. Out team is well trained and experienced to take you to the top and bring you back down safely. The trek is of easy difficulty and the climb itself is a little physically demanding. The most thrilling part of the entire trek is the 250feet Rappel down of the fort where you come down a 900 degree rock face with the help of ropes and technical mountaineering materials. So gear up and lets set out to the amazing journey of the Gorakhgad Fort Trek.
🔷 Itinerary for Each Batch:
♦️Saturday Night Departure from Mumbai and Pune:
▶️ Mumbai Pickup: Dadar – 10:30 PM
▶️ Pune Pickup: Shivaji Nagar Railway Station (near Maharashtra Bank) – 11:00 PM
Next Day (Saturday)
⏰ 02:00 AM – Reach Base Village
☕ 05:00 AM – Morning Tea & Breakfast
🗣 05:30 AM – Trek Introduction
🥾 05:30 AM – Begin to hike up the trail to reach the base of Gorakhgad Fort
🛕 06:30 AM – Reach the Base and get ready with Technical Gears
🌄 07:00 AM – Begin Climbing the rock cut stairs with out expert team.
🔽 08:00 AM – Reach the cave and relax for some time. Munch on some munchies.
🕛 12:00 PM – Continue Climb to the top of the fort.
🏡 01:00 PM – Reach the top of the fort and have a break.
🎒 01:15 PM – Enjoy the scenic beauty and mesmerizing views of the Sahyadri’s from above.
🍲 01:15–02:00 PM – Start Rappelling Activity
🏠 02:30 PM – Reach the base of the fort and remove technical equipment.
🏠 03.30 PM - Get down to the base village and have lunch.
🚌 05:00 PM - Head back for home with happy memories.

Cancellation & Refund
- 5 or more days before trek: 80% refund.
- 3–4 days before trek: 50% refund.
- Less than 48 hours before trek: No refund.
- Natural calamities or government restrictions: Trek will be rescheduled — no cash refund.
Date Change
- One free date change up to 5 days before the trek.
- Date changes within 5 days are subject to availability.
- Applicable only for upcoming Sahas Adventures weekly treks.
Terms & Conditions
- Seat is confirmed only after advance payment and Google Form submission.
- Full refund if the trek is cancelled by Sahas Adventures (2–3 working days).
- Participant cancellations follow the refund policy. Booking transfer may be allowed.
- Stay and food are basic, not luxurious.
- Seats are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Minimum 15 participants required per batch.
- WhatsApp group link will be shared 5–6 hours before the trek.
- Follow the instructions of trek leaders at all times.
